Every aspect of the Instagram app, including the profile, photographs, videos, comments, and lost followers, is permanently deleted. Since the procedure is irrevocable, you can always get your account back after it has been deleted.
Steps to temporarily delete your instagram account :
1. Log in to Instagram using a browser on a phone or computer.
2. Select "Settings" by clicking on the profile picture.
3. The "Edit profile" page will be shown. To access the "Temporarily deactivate my account" option, scroll to the bottom of the page. Just click it.
4. You will be prompted to choose a justification for wanting to disable your Instagram account. Choose from the available choices.
5. To disable the profile, enter your password and click "Temporarily Deactivate Account."
6. All you need to do is simply connect back onto the platform whenever you want to reactivate your disabled Instagram account.
Steps to permanently delete your instagram account :
1. Simply navigate to the "Delete your account page" on a computer or mobile device.
2. If you are not already logged in, the page will prompt you to do so.
3. You will be prompted to choose a reason for wanting to delete your Instagram account from a drop-down option.
4. If you choose one of the questions, it will also provide you several solutions. Select any justification.
5. To continue, enter the password again.
6. For the Instagram account to be permanently deleted, click the "Delete [username]" option.
